The British Columbia Institute Of Technology is a non-profit higher education institute established in the year 1960 in Burnaby, Canada. it has five campuses located in the Metro Vancouver region. it is located in the suburban setting of the large town of Burnaby with a population range of 50,000-249,999. The program offered in the institute include carpentry, welding and aircraft maintenance. British Columbia Institute of Technology offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. When the institute initially began, it has about 498 students but now it has grown to 18,755 full-time students and 30,593 part-time students. Its first Bachelor of Technology degree in Environmental Engineering was awarded in 1996.
