About Royal Roads University
Royal roads university is a higher education institution established in the year 1995 and located in the city of Victoria, British Columbia. The institution was formerly the Royal Roads Military College as at 1968. Queen Elizabeth the second visited the institution as at  1983 when the Hatley Park/castle was built. This castle is home for the Canadian Military museum. But as at 1995, the institution began answering the name Royal Roads University and began granting degree.

Victoria, British Columbia is the city where the Royal Roads university is located. Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and it became a city in 1862. It is the 7th most densely populated city in Canada. It was named after Queen Victoria. It is a tourist centre with a flourishing technology which is the main source of their revenue. Before the arrival of the Europeans, the city was home for the Songhees which was later moved to the Esquimalt. When Gold was discovered in British Columbia in 1858, Victoria became the harbour (Port) for the gold. Victoria lost its title as the commercial base of British Columbia in 1886. Victoria However got its steady growth during the second world war.
