the St.Thomas University is a higher education institution established in the year 1910 and located in the town of Fredericton. This institution focuses in Liberal arts and Social Justice. This institution was formerly the St. Michael’s Academy founded by James Rogers in 1860 but its name was later changed to the St.Thomas college because of the St. Michaels College in Toronto. It was then later declared to be a university which offers degree programs. Its first degree was granted in 1953 to Lord Beaverbrook.
