The Annual Evergreen Award Identifies And Helps Scale Programs That Best Help Low-Income Youth Access And Complete College Or Vocational Degrees.
The prize consist of:
- $125,000 will be given to the winning organization in recognition of its accomplishments to date on behalf of low-income students and to support its growth goals.
- The three finalists will present at the Awards Dinner attended by national education and foundation leaders. The Prize Winner will be announced following the presentations.
- Ongoing PR and marketing support to broadly promote their organization.
- Advice from a group of ed-tech and business consultants to explore non-philanthropic revenue generation opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria For The Annual Evergreen Award
- US-based non-profit or government organizations – Including education and workforce development programs.
- Evidence of success – Applicants must provide evidence of their previous success and cost-effectiveness, preferably from an independent evaluation
- Path to scale – Organizations must be ready to supply a plan for scaling the number of low-income youth they impact
- Transparency – Applicants must be willing to share their program model with other organizations looking to improve outcomes for low-income youth.
