Ashton College In Vancouver, Canada
Ashton College was established in March 1998. The college is a private, post-secondary educational institution, with campuses located in the cities of Vancouver, a coastal seaport city in western Canada, and Abbotsford in British Columbia, Canada. In 2002, their School of Part-Time Studies opened which allows working adult students to qualify for professional designations. In the same year, they also launched an internship program. Two years after, an advisory board was appointed to keep the College up to date on current business trends, curriculum, and to represent the college at certain functions. Ashton College In Vancouver has both domestic and international students, with a focus on adult learners and continuing education programs. The following programs was launched in 2009: the Human Resources Management Diploma, and the Immigration Consultant Diploma. In 2007, Red Deer, Alberta became the newest city to host an Ashton College part-time studies program. The year after, Ashton College becomes a test centre site including hosting the University of Cambridge and Immigration Consulting National Examination. Ashton introduces a Career Services Office to help transition students into the job force.
