Alberta Blue Cross 50th Anniversary Nursing Bursary
The $1000 Blue Cross Nursing Bursary is donated by the ABC Benefits Corporation Foundation. Newly admitted students for the Nursing Program at Keyano College may apply for this award. Students are selected based on their performance in the entrance exams for admission into the College.
Eligible students are those with an average of 80% or a 3.7/4.0 GPA in the entrance exams. The Students Awards Committee of Keyano College will also use a demonstration of financial need as a criterion for benefit from the bursary. Students are therefore to submit a copy of line 150 from their income tax return so their financial status can be determined. All applications will be evaluated using 50% of academic performance and 50% of demonstration of financial need.
Excellence Scholarships
This scholarship is awarded to entrance students into post-secondary schools who are coming in from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Students that are awarded are those with excellent academic performance during their high school studies. Such students must have scored not lower than 70% in English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, and any other 30 level course. Cumulatively, students must have no less than an average of 80% for all five subjects.
To be eligible for this award, a student must have been admitted and registered as a full-time student of Keyano College. Selected students are awarded a value equivalent to the tuition fee for one academic year (fall and winter semester).
Keyano College Leadership Award
The Keyano College Leadership Award is an entrance award available for students newly admitted for any kind of diploma or career program at the College. Students who are selected for the award will receive $1000. Such students must have displayed commendable academic achievement and leadership prowess. This will be accessed through their participation in campus and community activities while in high school.

The Alberta Opportunities Bursary is a $1000 award provided by the Provincial Government of Alberta to year 1 and 2 students taking any program. Bert Lang Indigenous Bursary

Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship
The Dr. Gary McPherson Leadership Scholarship is given to students, especially those with disabilities who have displayed innovative leadership and the ability to improve the living conditions of others. The award is also given in honor and remembrance of Dr. Gary McPherson who was an exceptional leader and was passionate about improving the sporting life of persons with disabilities.
The scholarship is valued at $2000 and is available for students of Keyano College who are residents of Alberta or who have parents or common-law partners who are residents of Alberta. Students applying for the award must also have a minimum GPA of 1.70 in the preceding semester.

Charles Ruigrok Syncrude Canada Ltd. Athletic Award
Every year, one male and one female student of Keyano College who is an active participant in local athletic sports and is a member of a recognized team are selected to benefit from this athletic award. The students must be enrolled full-time at the College and excel in both academics and sporting activities. The students must have a track record of good conduct in their teams and must have a minimum G.P.A. of 1.7.
Huskies Athletic Endowment Award
The Huskies Athletic Endowment Award is donated by the Huskies Athletic Endowment Fund for students taking any program and at any level at Keyano College. The Huskies is made available to all Huskies Athletics teams and the number of students or teams to receive the award depends on the number of designated funds available.
Head coaches will select students to receive the award based on their active participation and leadership abilities in the teams. The Athletic Director at Keyano College will also select a male and a female to benefit from the $500 award.
SAKC Alberta Colleges Conference Award
The Students’ Association of Keyano College (SAKC) gives $500 per year to one eligible full-time student taking any program and in any year at Keyano College. The criteria for benefiting from the award include participation in the ACAC, active training in sports, team playing and commendable academic performance.
International students at Keyano College can also benefit from this award while students already selected for a provincial athletic award will not be considered. Generally, students will be accessed from the award using academic achievement, community involvement, and athletic standing.

The Apprenticeship Awards are available for students enrolled in the School of Trade and Heavy Industry for apprenticeship training.
