All four streams featured in the draw needed at least a score of Ninety (90) points. Those streams were:

  • SI – Skilled Worker stream
  • SI – International Graduate stream
  • EEBC – International Graduate stream
  • EEBC – Skilled Worker stream

Requirements for all of the featured streams are further listed below in this article.

The last British Columbia immigration draw was the province’s largest all-program draw of the year 2019, granting invitations to 546 applicants.

The September 4 British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) draw saw minimum scores dropped in four out of the five featured streams. British Columbia has now given out a combined 1,073 invitations in its previous two all-program draws.

The province’s skilled worker stream saw a minimum score of Nine-three (93) points, while a minimum score of Nine-six (96) points was required for the Express Entry-aligned skilled worker stream.

International graduates through the direct stream needed Ninety-Eight (98) points, while the Express Entry-aligned international graduate stream had a minimum score of 100 points. Entry-level and semi-skilled candidates require Seventy-seven (77) points to qualify.

The BC PNP Tech Pilot has been extended into 2020 after its first launch in 2017. It presently has a list of Twenty-Nine (29) targeted occupations with easy duration requirements.

BC PNP draws targeted specifically at technology workers started in May 2017. The province has a flourishing technology industry with some big company of the tech world basing themselves in B.C.

What Are The BC PNP Tech Pilot Job Requirements?

  • The Job offer must be for one of the Twenty-Nine (29) targeted occupations (see below)
  • The job offer must be for a minimum of one-year duration
  • The job offer must be valid for a minimum of 120 days at the time of application

A coveted provincial nomination practically guarantees nomination under the Canada Express Entry System, worth 600 CRS points.

The B.C. PNP announces the scores immigrants need to have to get an invitation for Canada immigration under its four streams.

The score required for an international graduate is Thirty (30) points below a skilled worker under both the Canada Express Entry and provincial program. For semi-skilled workers and entry-level, that score is lower again.
