A coveted provincial nomination effectively assures selection under the Canada Express Entry System, worth an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points.

British Columbia government recently announced it will stop announcing scores for guaranteed Invitations to Apply through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

Instead, the province says candidates can view the scores needed by checking the draw details published each week since 2016 when it started its version of Expression of interest immigration.
