Byzantine Studies Fellowship At Notre Dame University, USA

Fellowship is awarded in order to pursue Postdoctoral programme.

Field of Study:

Fellowship is awarded to study Byzantine. Eligible international students who major in all fields and sub-disciplines of Byzantine Studies, such as history (including its auxiliary disciplines), archaeology, art history, literature, theology, and liturgical studies, as well as the study of Byzantium’s interactions with neighboring cultures are all welcome to apply for this fellowship.

Scholarship Award: 

$36,000 plus benefits.

Eligibility Criteria:

Byzantine Studies fellows must hold a Ph.D. from an internationally recognized institution. The Ph.D. must be in hand by the beginning of the fellowship term.

English Language Requirements: 

Applicants whose mother’s tongue is not English are usually asked to provide evidence of English proficiency at the higher level required by the university.
