As an international student applying to study at Capilano University for the first time, you will be required to one-time down payments of $5,000 deposit. This deposit will be applied against your international tuition fees once you have registered in courses at the University.

General Admission Requirements Capilano University

Admission requirements at CapU is also dependent upon the program, however, at minimum, most programs only require a successful completion of:

  • British Columbia secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent

  • You must obtain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12, or English 12, or English First Peoples 12, and two academic Grade 12 courses.

After submitting your application on EducationPlannerBC an acknowledgement message will be sent to your personal email from CapU.

  • The message will include your Student ID number and your myCapU account and email address.
  • Also instructions on how to track your application will also be included.
  • In addition, all future messages from CapU will be sent to your “myCapU” email.
  • If you’re applying to CapU as a new student, you can use your myCapU account to apply for entrance awards.

Step 4: Submit your Official Transcripts

Even though you submitted a digital copy of your transcripts on EducationPlannerBC, you must submit official high school and university or college transcripts for admission.

Step 8: Get ready for your first day
