ABOUT CENTENNIAL COLLEGE
The Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology is the oldest publicly funded college located in Ontario, Canada, which grants diploma and degree awards. Its campuses which include the Morningside campus, Progress campus, Ashtonbee campus, and the Story Arts Centre are situated on the east side of the city, particularly in Scarborough, with an aerospace center at Downsview Park in North York.
The College has been designated as a culturally diverse post-secondary institution, no less than 100 ethnocultural groups are represented with 80 different languages spoken on campus. Ranked as one of Canada’s top 10 Research Colleges in 2016.
Centennial’s main research facilities are its Wearable, Interactive and Mobile Technologies Access Centre in Healthcare (WIMTACH]), founded in 2015 after obtaining a $1.75 million federal grant and its aerospace innovation hub, however, under construction at the former de Havilland plant in west-end of Toronto.

CENTENNIAL COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The first step to applying to Centennial College is to find out if you have the requirements to be admitted. As Admission Requirements vary from program to program, ensure to review the specific Admission Requirements for your chosen program, thereafter, contact the admissions department for details.
SUBMITTING YOUR TRANSCRIPTS
When applying;
- Your transcripts for admission must be submitted directly to Ontariocolleges.ca.
- For information on how to submit, visit How To Send Your Transcripts To Ontario Colleges.
- All international students transcripts must be assessed by World Education Services (WES) or International Credential Assessment Services (ICAS).
- However, students who apply directly to Centennial College will be required to submit official transcripts or credential evaluations to the Centennial College Admissions Office.
Important Notice: All official documents and transcripts must be sent in original and in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution. Photocopies will not be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY
It is important that check your specific program of choice to meet the unique requirements. Nevertheless, below is an outline of general admission requirements for programs at Centennial College.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ONTARIO COLLEGE CERTIFICATE, DIPLOMA, OR ADVANCED DIPLOMA PROGRAM
- You must have obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an OSSD Equivalence.
- Also eligible to apply as a mature applicant should you be without an OSSD, but are 19 years of age or older.
- May be eligible by credits, courses, and minimum grades that satisfy your program’s specific requirements, in addition to other requirements like portfolios, auditions, writing samples, math tests, interviews, or attending on-campus admission sessions.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAM
- Must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an OSSD Equivalency with at least six 12U, 12M, OAC credits.
- If you don’t have an OSSD, however, are 21 years of age or older, you are eligible to apply as a mature applicant.
- Your obtained credits, courses, and minimum grades which satisfies your program’s specific requirements, and other additional requirements like portfolios, auditions, writing samples, math tests, interviews, or attending on-campus admission sessions.
Note: For degree programs, all academic requirements must be met at the “U” or “M” level, or equivalent.
MODIFIED APPRENTICESHIP OR CO-OP APPREHENTICESHIP PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or GED/OSSD Equivalency.
- Should have obtained all credits, courses, and minimum grades required to satisfy your program’s specific criteria, in addition to your portfolios, auditions, writing samples, math tests, interviews, or attending on-campus admission sessions.
FAST-TRACK OR GRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a university degree or a three-year college diploma. For some graduate certificate or fast-track programs, applicants with a partial degree (minimum two years) or a two-year college diploma and at least two years of work experience in line with the program of study will be considered.
- Obtained the requirements by some programs, which require you to have completed post-secondary courses like English or math before applying.
- Other requirements may include any program-specific criteria needed before admission, which may include portfolios, auditions, writing samples, interviews, or English and Math admission testing.

HOW TO APPLY
1.CHOOSE A PROGRAM
Select a program that fits your passion and career goals. Centennial College has more than 100 full-time programs, 160 part-time programs, and thousands of part-time courses to choose from, thus, the right one for you is out there.
Prior to applying, ensure you satisfy the admission requirements for that program.
2. APPLY TO CENTENNIAL COLLEGE
Canadian citizen? Please, visit Ontariocolleges.ca to apply. With a $95 application fee you are allowed to apply for up to 5 programs. Should you be applying for a program that starts in the fall, you are advised to apply before February 1 of the former year. Any applications received after February 1 will still be considered, however, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. SEND YOUR TRANSCRIPTS
Ontario high school student or graduate, tell your guidance counselor that you have applied to college, and your school will forward your transcripts to Centennial College.
As a college or university graduate from a Canadian high school outside of Ontario, you must request that your educational institute send the needed documents and transcripts to Ontariocolleges.ca.
If you graduated from a school outside of Canada, you are to submit your transcripts and other documents in person. In addition, your transcripts must be assessed by World Education Services (WES) or International Credential Assessment Service (ICAS).
4. WAIT FOR YOUR OFFER OF ADMISSION
Upon meeting all admission requirements; you will be sent an offer of admission containing the next steps needed for you to enroll. Programs starting in the fall will receive offers of admission in February.
