MaKami College was established in Edmonton, Alberta in 2001 by the Pavkovic family. The college is a provincially credited private college in Alberta that started as a small vocational college and has since grown to an enrollment of over 1,200 students per year. The MaKami College In Edmont.trains students to become licensed massage therapists. A second campus was opened in Calgary in 2013
The College’s head office is located on the second floor of the former site of Capilano Mall, across from the Edmonton Public Library. In 3013 when Capilano Mall, was heavily reconstructed, MaKami College remained in what’s remained of the previous building. Second year students were relocated to the new Sports Massage Facility Centre off 50 Street & 106 Ave. The Edmonton campus houses first and second year massage therapy students as well as workshops for students and working RMTs.
