NSCAD University Admission Requirements For International Students is relatively hard since NSCAD University is a selective university that has an acceptance rate of 64% with a total enrollment of 750 students per year.

The university is accredited by the ‘Department of Labour and Advanced Education. NSCAD is one of the top universities in Canada that is dedicated to the studies of design and art with their main courses being Fine Art (BFA), Design (BDes), and Art History (BA). Students can also undergo graduate degrees in Master of Fine Arts and Master of Design.

For admission into the university students do not require SAT or ACT scores but students need to have 70% higher in Class 12 or equivalent for admissions to its undergraduate foundation programs.

For graduate programs, There are no minimum score requirements and neither does it ask for GMAT or GRE scores for graduate programs in NSCAD but students are required to submit Visual Portfolios for both undergraduate and graduate programs offered by NSCAD university.

Admission applications are invited in Fall and Winter sessions for undergraduate programs and in Fall for graduate programs.

Students can apply by March 1 for the fall semester and October 1 for the winter semester for UG programs.

Admission Requirements For International Students At NSCAD University

NSCAD is renowned for its acceptance rate for international students from all over the world. Internal students who have reached the minimum requirements with equivalent eligibility criteria can apply for admission into the university. As an international applicant, you can apply for a student visa to study in Canada once NSCAD has given you admission into the university. The University provides it in the form of a Student permit.

You do not need a student permit if you are applying for an exchange program that will last less than six months or if you are simply visiting NSCAD University for information.

To be eligible for this application, you must

  • Have completed one year of a visual arts program at a recognized post-secondary institution

  • Have completed a minimum of 24 credits of one year of full-time studies at a recognized university.
  • Have a minimum average of 67%

  •  must have successfully completed high school or its equivalent
