The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University offers NSCAD University Scholarships for International Students undergoing their academic program at the institution to support their financial needs. Scholarships for International Students at NSCAD University
When you apply for admission to NSCAD by the early deadline of March 1, you are automatically considered for Entrance Scholarships. The current range of individual entrance scholarships is $500 to $6000 and some awards are renewable for each of four years of study, making our top award approximately $25000! After each year of study at NSCAD, more scholarships will be available for application by qualified students.
The university awards about $100,000 annually to students, with more than 90 internal scholarships and bursaries available per academic year. External funding can also top $100,000 per year, with outside scholarships such as the Harrison McCain Scholarships in memory of Marion McCain, the Canada Graduate Awards, and other financial aid options. The Doris Teasdale Scholarship
This award is designed to support fine Arts students. It has a value of $1000.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- Demonstrate a high level of academic achievement
- have completed 60 credits
- Be a full-time student in the Bachelor of fine Arts
- Have interest in drawing and painting
Master Of Fine Arts Awards And Scholarships
This Scholarship/award has a value of $13,000
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship,you must
- Be a full-time student in the institutions Master of fine Arts department
- Have a very good academic standing
Roloff Beny Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship has a value of $5000.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- Be an entering Fine and Media Arts graduate students
- Have concentrated in the field of photography
Faculty Union of NSCAD Scholarship
This scholarship has a value of $1000
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship,yyou must
- Be an entering Fine and Media Arts, or Craft graduate students
Joan Catherine DeWolfe Graduate Fellowship
This scholarship has a value of $2000
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- Be an entering Fine and Media Arts, or Craft graduate students.
Joseph-Armand Bombardier Graduate Scholarships
This scholarship is non-renewable and it has a value of $17500. It is designed to support undergraduate and graduate students.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must
- Be a full-time student in a graduate program at the institution
- Have completed a direct entry Masters program
- Have achieved a first class average
