Royal Canadian Naval College Class of ’46 Scholarship

This scholarship is conferred to the graduating Regular Force member of the Naval Environment with the best academic average in a post-graduate program. (during Spring).

Canada Graduate Scholarship

This scholarship is non-renewable, and the cost is $17,500 for one year. Normally, the student should not be in receipt of the full Department of National Defence financial support for these studies. NOTE: All the members of the CAF admitted to any of the following degrees who have no legacy rights were released by CAF before they completed degrees are disqualified from the degrees. They include a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Bachelor of Arts (Major), Bachelor of Science (Honours), Bachelor of Science (Major), and a Bachelor of Engineering degree. However, suppose MOSID accredits these candidates before being released from the CAF. In that case, they can be allowed to transfer into any of the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts (General), Bachelor of Science (General), Bachelor of Military Arts and Science, or Bachelor of Military Arts and Science (Honours).

They can be admitted directly as a 1st-year student at the university when they can complete the first year of a two-year General DEC Diploma from an accredited CEGEP Or when the student has completed the full two-year DEC Diploma and then will be admitted with an advance standing as a second-year student.

But starting from September 2021, nonmilitary students who want to attend the college must obtain legacy rights from the Senate of the college before they are admitted. Hence, degrees open to the Cadets cannot be offered to nonmilitary students unless they have been granted legacy rights by Senate.
