Simple Guide To Creating Your Express Entry Profile

1. Gather Documents & Information

Before you begin creating your Express Entry profile, you must do a couple of things. For example, you must successfully complete a language test, and you need to get the National Occupational Classification (NOC) code for all jobs that you have gathered work experience in.

You have to also have your foreign educational certificates evaluated in order to check their Canadian equivalent.

After this, you have to gather the following documents and information: your travel document such as international passport, English language test result, educational credential assessment (ECA) results, NOC codes, a copy of employment letter etc.

2. Produce MYCIC Account

For the next step, you need to open MYCIC account by visiting the CIC website and registering for a GCKey. You will then go back to the main page and enter the login details to access your account.

3. Complete Express Entry Profile

You can complete this process by logging on to your MyCIC account; inserting your Come to Canada tool personal reference code if you have one; entering all requested information, and sending in your profile online.

If you fulfill all the criteria required for Express Entry, you will be included to the Express Entry candidate list. Should you be nominated to submit a permanent residence application, CIC will notify you about the immigration program you can apply under.

4. Make Your Job Bank Profile

Log on to the Job Bank website and create your profile by inputting the required information.

5. What Next?

If be eligible to apply for at least one of the Express Entry programs, CIC will enter you into the Express Entry candidate list.

Upon receiving an invitation to apply (ITA), you can complete your application for permanent residence if you have a valid employment offer and have been nominated by a province or territory, or are among the top-ranked candidates on the EE profile pool due to skill set and expertise.
