The UK Fiancé / Fiancée Visa Application Process

If you are applying for the UK Fiancé / Fiancée Visa from outside of the UK, you may have to complete the application online. You can get the application form from the UK immigration website.

In order to fill out the application, you have to create a Visa4UK username and password. Once completed and verified, you must save and print the application.

Additionally, you have to also fill out a second form known as Appendix 2. It’s very important not to forget about Appendix 2.

These two (2) forms are the first vital component of the general Fiance Visa application process. The second important component is your supporting documentation.

In most cases, when it comes to the supporting documents, most of the responsibility falls upon the sponsor (your fiance). The immigration office will need to see valid proof that your sponsor meets the minimum financial requirements, and has adequate accommodation for when you arrive.
